The Conservatory & The Study
Reserved exclusively as a pair, The Study and The Conservatory offer a hidden gem of a private event space in Midtown NYC, one that can be configured in countless ways to suit any occasion. From milestone celebrations and private dinners to cocktail-style receptions and experiential events, these adjoining rooms are as versatile as they are refined.

The Club Room
The Club Room, The Fifth’s most private dining space, offers an intimate setting for gatherings of up to 18 guests just above Café Carmellini. A custom wooden table serves as the room’s centerpiece, while intricate diamond-pattern marquetry along the walls catches the eye, adding to its understated elegance. Perfect for curated dining experiences in NYC, as well as formal meetings or smaller corporate functions, the room includes a mirrored feature that discreetly transforms into a screen, supporting presentations without disrupting the visual harmony of the space.

The Grand Salon
Perched on the third floor of a historic Gilded Age mansion, The Grand Salon serves as the stately ballroom at The Fifth Avenue Hotel, offering a sophisticated setting for large-scale gatherings in the heart of Manhattan. Soaring 12-foot ceilings and expansive windows frame views of Fifth Avenue and 28th Street, while resplendent chandeliers, golden candelabras, and carefully selected artwork set a tone of grandeur.

The Cellar
Exquisite marquetry and warm hues welcome guests to The Cellar, a private dining room with direct access from Fifth Avenue—ideal for high-profile gatherings and intimate celebrations. Considered one of the most coveted private event venues in New York, the space features four- to six-course menus from Café Carmellini that reframe traditional events through the lens of fine dining, with thoughtful service and seasonal creativity at the forefront.

The Vault
In the early 1900s, The Fifth Avenue Hotel served as the Second National Bank. Today, its former vault has been reimagined as the hotel’s most intimate private dining room. Fittingly known as The Vault, this hidden space seats up to 12 guests for a seasonal, family-style menu from Café Carmellini,
available exclusively in this setting.
