With more than 700 pieces from around the world, including contemporary works and storied antiques, the collection invites discovery at every turn.
The Art of Discovery Experience offers guests a guided tour through the hotel’s most thought-provoking works, many of which are tucked within private spaces and hidden corners of the Mansion. From there, a private chauffeur escorts you to the Whitney Museum of American Art, where VIP admission and a custom-curated itinerary await.
Upon returning to The Fifth, the experience concludes with a conversation between you and the hotel’s sommelier. You’ll be invited to share the artwork that resonated with you most, and in return, you’ll receive a bottle of wine personally selected to echo its character, tone, or story—a thoughtful gift to enjoy at your leisure in The Portrait Bar, Café Carmellini, or in your room.
