Empire State Building
The Empire State Building, situated on Fifth Avenue at 34th Street, remains one of the most distinctive and famous buildings in the world. From the 86th floor, this modernist Art Deco building boasts the only 360-degree open-air unobstructed view in the city, while the 102nd Floor Observatory features floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass elevator with a sound and light experience. Apart from its height and views, the stunning Art Deco lobby is one of the few interiors in New York to be designated a historic landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission.
